It's been awhile.
There's a large part of me that wants to attempt an explanation that would justify my absence, and a larger part of me that is just happy to be in a place where I can speak to you again.
It's been hard. and beautiful. and scary. and long. and frustrating. and surprising. and...just all of the things. I am unashamed to say that I am overcome with such strong emotions, all emanating from this sense of home.
Writing to you, sharing with you, feels like home.
And as I am here typing this blog, I am allowing myself to be sad for staying away for so long.
But, I've got some great news! In the time we've spent apart I've grown, I've learned, and we've expanded. I'm very much looking forward to weekly(!) blogs again. They will likely look more like this, conversational, casual and I will be hoping you talk back to me in the comment section below or in the forum.
As the weeks go on, I'll be sharing some of what I've learned and some of what I've been through all in hopes of continuing this conversation we started back in 2016.
What does it mean to be a Christian in real life and in real time? What are the practical applications of this faith we choose to cling to? Why does it matter?
I never sought to be the person with all of the answers, I just wanted to make sure we were asking the right questions and giving God the space to be God in our lives in real life and in real time.
So as we continue to journey together, I hope to see you in the Member's Feed where you can post about your journey and inspirations, or in the Forums where we can have more detailed discussions. The Podcast will also be updating weekly so if you want to catch up, or suggest new topics, sound off in the comments below or on our social media, which is all linked below for your convenience.
It's beautiful to be back and I'm excited to start this back up again.
