Although your face I have not seen
My God knows who you are
Your beauty plays a melody
Like strings on a guitar
The elegance within your eyes
Will melt my heart away
Christ’s love within you, dazzling
A remarkable display
I pray for strength and self-control
A willingness to endure
For when you walk inside that room
Loneliness no more
I boldly come before His throne
A favor I must ask
That on the day our fibers meet
Our identities unmasked
We’ll stare in wondrous disbelief
Words will not be spoken
Instead our spirits intertwine
Acknowledging God’s chosen
God’s timing is a mystery
Yet in it there is beauty
For he who finds a virtuous wife
Her worth far more than rubies
Proverbs 31:10-11
Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her, so he will have no lack of gain.
